Personal Statement: I am currently self-employed, offering a variety of services from library/archive management to documentation of objects and exhibitions/ interpretation.

Services offered include preventive conservation of archive materials and library and archive cataloguing and digitization. Work with general objects can be undertaken such as documentation projects, including cleaning, accessioning, photography, data entry and preventive conservation. Services available also include curatorial and interpretive services for museum exhibitions or websites, from object research to text writing, historic photograph research, and production of panels and labels.

I am also available to assist with making museum collections accessible through the NZ Museums website. I have experience with the Vernon museum database.

Professional Experience: My background is in libraries particularly working with heritage materials such as photographs and archive collections. I worked in museum libraries then moved into working with objects, both in collection management roles and exhibition research, text writing and installation.

Other professional experience: Approximately 20 years in libraries, in both public libraries and museums

Qualifications: New Zealand Library Studies Certificate 1985, Postgraduate Diploma of Museum Studies.
